Photographer takes a bow-wow

Japan Times readers are invited to see "We Love Dogs," an exhibition of about 120 dog photos by Elliott Erwitt that will be shown at Mitsukoshi department store in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.

The exhibition, which will run Oct. 21-26, will feature 10 of this U.S. photographer's representative works and about 90 portraits of dogs from various parts of the world.

The Japan Times has 20 pairs of tickets to give away. Those interested should send a postcard to Erwitt Shashin-ten, The Japan Times-gakari, SP525, Ginza 5-15-1, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 104-8238. The postcard must arrive on or before Oct. 15.

The exhibition will be open 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Ordinary tickets are 600 yen for adults or college students and 400 yen for high-school students. Children can enter for free.
