'Find your Warhol' at Marubiru
Representative works by Andy Warhol are being displayed at the Marunouchi Building (Marubiru) and along the Marunouchi Nakadori Avenue near JR Tokyo Station, through Aug. 24.
Reproductions of Warhol's work can be seen at Marucube on the first floor and in the third-floor corridor, and will also be hung from lamp posts lining the avenue.
During the event, titled "Find Your Warhol," two artists influenced by Warhol will be giving lectures.
Makoto Saito will speak from 7 p.m. on Aug. 10 and Katsuhiko Hibino from 7 p.m. on Aug. 11 (both in Japanese) at Marunouchi Cafe Ease, Marubiru, 1F. Entrance is free, but you need to apply for invitations, given out on a first-come-first-served basis. To apply, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org specifying which lecture you'd like to attend.
