Extras are being sought for productions of Verdi's "Macbeth" and "Otello" staged by Teatro alla Scala.

Western men, women and children aged 6 to 50 are being sought for rehearsals and performances of the operas from Aug. 24 to Sept. 17. Extras will be paid 4,000 yen per rehearsal and 6,000 yen per performance.
