Ticket giveaway for classical concert

The Japan Times is giving away 10 pairs of tickets to the NEC Community Concert, which will be held July 17 at Sumida Triphony Hall in Tokyo.

The concert, which starts 7 p.m., will feature the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Kiyotaka Teraoka and accompanied by guitarist Daisuke Suzuki.

The program consists of Rossini's "Overture for Il barbiere di Seviglia," Rodrigo's "Concierto de Aranjuez" and Rimsky-Korsakov's symphonic suite "Scheherazade."

Readers interested in attending should send an ofuku hagaki (return postcard) to NEC Community Concert, The Japan Times-gakari, NEC Shakai Koken-bu, Shiba 5-7-1, Minato-ku, Tokyo, 108-8001.

The card must have the sender's name and address on both back and front, as well as a telephone number on the back. The postcard must arrive by June 30. Sumida Triphony Hall is a three-minute walk from the North Exit of Kinshicho Station on the JR Sobu Line.
