"The Basques in the Cinema" film festival starts Friday and ends Sunday at Virgin Cinemas Roppongi Hills in Tokyo.

The titles include "Box 507," "Mondays in the Sun," "Torremolinos 73," "Housewife Assassin," "Rapture," "800 Bullets," "Sex and Lucia" and "The Bulgarian Lovers." Shorts will also be shown. All except "Mondays in the Sun" and "Rapture" are subtitled in English. Tickets cost 1,800 yen for each show.

Visitors will also be served free snacks prepared by two Basque chefs in the evening.
