Vision Quest Tokyo presents "Infected Vision" at Zepp Tokyo in Odaiba near Tokyo Teleport Station and the big Ferris wheel.

Live acts Infected Mushroom, Dino and Pixel, plus DJ sets by Ami, Dino, Roger Jordan and Pixel.

If the name of this event seems familiar, it's because a party of the same name was held at the end of last May. The final lineup was almost completely different, significantly because Infected Mushroom couldn't play (Delirious stepped into their spot and gave us an awesome show!). No worries. Erez and Duvdev made it to Gathering 2005 in September just fine. There will be no second no-show.

Starts at 10 p.m. Tickets are 7,000 yen at the door. Plenty of coin lockers located inside and out. PET bottle drinks (500 yen) sold with straps. Zepp's dancefloor is huge but will fill up before 1 a.m. Vision Quest never spares the wattage and M.M.Delight's graphics just keep getting better and better. Expect to hear that killer Dino track -- "I only wanna be with you" -- with the great vocals that swept over "Gathering 2005."

Liquidnote presents "Free Party -- Liquid Bloom" at Ark Studio Cube326 in the Shibaura of Minato Ward. Starts at 11 p.m.

On one dancefloor will be DJs Uscus (Anoyo), Ree.K (Hypnodisk/Space Gathering), Joe.. (Masala Sounz), Tao (Liquidnote), Jun Funaki (Octagon), and Kenta (Samon Trxxx).

And on another dancefloor, the Liquid Groove Floor, will be DJs Finediner (Zenon/ Groove Zone), Yu-Ta (Planet Dance/Log), Up-Shy (Psy-Roundabout), Maki (Liquidnote/ Zerogravity), Organic Sound System (Re:Creation), and Ken (Psy/ How Sweet).

This will be a largely downtempo affair by looks of it, with heaps of progressive and weird funk piled high and deep. It's worth going just to see what Ree.K will pull out of the box. Cube326 is a great little club not far from JR Tamachi Station and the subway Mita Station.
