My resolution is to concentrate on my job and my hobby. I want to make more money and I want to get better at what I do, and also I want to improve my tennis skills.

To keep on working really hard. I changed my job and I'm working on a Mexican TV show and I'm enjoying it a lot. It's really fun, so working hard also means having a good time each day.

Miki Yamada
Office worker, 25
I want to get a real job this year. I'm just a part-time worker now and I want to move into a full-time career. I haven't decided what exactly yet, but I think I'd like to find something computer related.

Jenny Myers
Personal asst., 24
My resolution for this year is that I will stop drinking too much. I also want to go to the movies once in a fortnight, and I really need to learn how to change the oil in my car.

Kotaru Shiraishi
Student, 20
I don't want to stay out all night partying hard in Shibuya and at places near my university. I don't want to spend so many all-nighters drinking and hanging around with my friends this year.

I think it's the same thing as every year -- it's to get into much better shape. I'll be 40 this year, so it's now or never. Before I just kept saying, "I'm young, I'll be fine!"
