I will be on a beach in Mexico with my friends. We are heading out there to avoid Christmas. I love to receive presents, but I hate how people give gifts because it's expected of them.

I will be having a traditional Christmas day in London with my family. I don't like the pressure there is on people to buy presents at this time of year, especially those who can't afford to.

Christmas in Tokyo is a little sad and too commercial. I'm going to the U.S. to see relatives. I am Catholic and I will probably go to mass and have an evening meal with my family.

Tokyo is a little gray at Christmas, so this year I am going to New Zealand for something different. I don't like the family part of Christmas. There is a lot of stress and high expectations.

I think Christmas in Japan is more of a romantic day for couples, rather than family. I always enjoyed getting together with my family as we all live apart. This year, I will be in Osaka sightseeing.

My mother was a single parent and we don't have a large family, so she didn't like Christmas very much. It's never been a major thing. I am going to have a meal with friends this year.
