Should Japan consider going nuclear?

We've remained war-free for over 60 years and said we won't go to war again. If we get nuclear weapons now and say we'll use them, everything we've said for the past 60 years is worthless.

I don't think it's a good idea. If someone starts shooting off rockets, it will be the end of the world. If one starts, others will start and it doesn't make sense. We should be trying to stop Korea.

No. I don't think that any country should be trying to get nuclear weapons. Where does the arms race stop? I think we should be trying to get rid of all nuclear weapons.

No. We should absolutely not get nuclear weapons. Japan has so many people with sad experiences of the nuclear bomb already, we certainly don't need to go through that again.

No. Nuclear weapons are not needed. I just think we don't need them and it's as simple as that. Nuclear war isn't a real problem yet so I think it's stupid to consider getting nuclear weapons.

Do you really think any people will say yes to nuclear weapons? Of course not. Maybe we could be like Switzerland and just have weapons and military for defense, but not to attack.
