My friend told me that most Japanese think that foreigners don't like them, so if you want to really want to date a Japanese man, then you have to tell your friends and get them to hook you up with one.

Going to parties where foreigners are, like international exchange parties, can work pretty well. You get lots of different types of people that go there. It can be a bit like Roppongi sometimes, but some people at the parties are quite serious.

Stay away from the expat hell kind places, like Roppongi. You get areas like that in all the main cities. And be yourself.

As a foreigner, Japanese girls are expecting you to be different, so you don't have to live up to do a Japanese date thing.

Friends of friends are best when it comes to meeting new people, I think. But of course, you should be happy and be relaxed.

I would say have a few drinks and approach a girl you think is cute and try to strike up a conversation. I don't have any lines.

You have to plan and also be generous. Go to a crowded place where there are lots of active people.

Stay away from Roppongi, I guess you just have to make a lot of Japanese friends and get yourself out there.
