Director: Pierre Morel

Language: English

"Taken" is an another Luc Besson written/produced dumb non-stop action thriller. Liam Neeson plays an ex-CIA operative who flies from L.A. to Paris to rescue his 17-year-old daughter who is kidnapped by Albanian gangsters and is about to be sold over the black market. The raging dad, a master of many skills, relentlessly tortures and kills the gangs until he gets his girl back. An adrenaline pumped popcorn movie for those who don't mind about silly incoherences like Neeson speaking in English while he impersonates a French policeman.
