Disturbia
Director: D.J. Caruso Language: English After being confined to his home for punching a teacher, a bored high-school boy starts spying on his neighbors. What begins as fun — watching a pretty neighbor sun-bathing in a bikini — later turns into a nightmare when he witnesses another neighbor dragging a blood-soaked bag. It's an uncredited update of Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window," in which James Stewart observed his neighbors with a telescope. Here, using modern technology — iPod, PC, a cell phone, a digital camera, etc. — the teenager (Shia LaBeouf) surveils the possible serial killer. |
