RatatouilleBy MIZUHO AOKI
Director: Brad Bird
Brad Bird's latest animation is a charming fantasy for people of all ages. Our endearing hero is Remy (voiced by Patton Oswalt), a rat who has amazingly refined taste and dreams of becoming a chef. Leaving the sewers, Remy sneaks into an upscale Parisian restaurant where he befriends Linguini (Lou Romano), the kitchen's young cleaner. Hiding in Linguini's chef hat, Remy guides him in how to make sensational dishes. The mood of Paris and the joy of delicious meals are beautifully captured in warm and soft tones, and Peter O'Toole as the voice of the critic Anton adds extra aroma to this delightful cuisine. |
