Making full use of his trained and muscular body, Mark Walberg plays the tough, sharp but solitary hero, Bob Lee Swagger. An ex-Marine sniper, Swagger lives as a recluse on a mountain until Col. Isaac Johnson (Danny Glover) asks him to foil a plot to assassinate the president. After learning that he has been double-crossed and set-up as the sniper, he tries to track down the real killer. Not a great movie, but still, the relentless action scenes, a very watchable Walberg and picturesque mountain views make it enjoyable.
