The Himeji City Museum of Art often collaborates with local artists and gives them the opportunity to present their work to the public.

For this exhibition, it introduces Naoko Yoshimoto, Takeshi Kubo and Nobuo Asada. Yoshimoto is best known for her philosophical insight into the meaning of clothing, Kubo reshapes marble stones to create site-specific sculptures and Asada uses photography to incite public interest in nature. Though the three artists work in very different mediums — fabric, stone and photography — they each possess a clear concept of what they believe such objects represent; Sept. 13-Oct. 21.
