Paper-cutting artist Shu Kubo uses handmade washi (traditional Japanese paper) and combines it with various materials, including ordinary paper, fabric and even sand. His works are dynamic and realistic and his multi-media approach offers a wide range of colors and textures. Under the theme of "Japonisme in paper," this exhibition highlights works that depict places, foods and other motifs in Japan that are symbolic of the four seasons. A total of 150 pieces will be on display, including Kubo's interpretations of places he has traveled to both in Japan and overseas.; till July 16.
