It's not often you get to step into someone else's imagination the way you can at "Gosse de peintre" (translated to either "Kid of Painting" or "Painter's Kid").

This is the mind of internationally famous Japanese filmmaker, actor, comedian and artist Takeshi Kitano, also known as Beat Takeshi, who has created a childhood-like fantasy of vibrant imaginary animals, bizarre images and musings, gags and interactive installations.

The exhibition revolves in part around Kitano's own childhood imaginings and is designed, he says, to make you laugh like children; till Sept. 2.
