"Kazunari Hattori: Summer 2011 In Osaka"

Tokyo native, graphic designer Kazunari Hattori (b. 1964) graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts in 1988 and then worked at Light Publicity Ltd., an advertising company, until he became a freelance designer in 2001.

Nothing if not prolific, he has helped produce a wide range goods — from posters and magazine ads to art exhibition fliers and book designs.

Hattori's representative works include artwork for Kewpie Half, a low-calorie mayonnaise, and the cover for the "Petit Royal French-Japanese Dictionary," published by Obunsha.

In recent years, he has been showcasing experimental works in solo and group exhibitions, exploring the possibilities of new artistic expressions.

This exhibition presents some of Hattori's representative graphic designs, as well as some original pieces he made for the show; till Sept. 2.
