Ukiyo-e (Japanese woodblock print) artist Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1798-1861) is famous for works combining innovative design with fantastic ideas. Such works are highly acclaimed by dedicated fans and have inspired many of today's designers and younger generations of artists. In 2009, "Kuniyoshi," an exhibition held at London's Royal Academy, proved popular. It garnered continued success in New York in 2010.

Marking the 150th year since the death of Kuniyoshi, this exhibition presents around 400 prints, including representative works and also some newly discovered ones. In addition to prints, Kuniyoshi's hand-drawn genre paintings and woodblocks are being exhibited; till June 5.
