Message to young people
My message to the young people in Japan is don’t be afraid to fail and to challenge yourself. Every experience you gain is a necessity for the future. When I was young, I also challenged myself to do many things and experienced things I never thought I would have. If you stay positive, a very bright future will be waiting for you. Don’t slack off, work hard and move toward your goal.

I was a child interested in various things like sports, fashion and drawing. I played with my mothers’ wardrobe, pulling out her clothes and dressing myself with them. By the age of 6, I was already dressing like a grown-up.

I originally aspired to go into the advertising industry. Since I liked fashion, I wanted to do graphic design for clothing, sales, etc., and actually got involved in doing so. In Italy, I got to meet a lot of people in the fashion industry and this led me to an opportunity to set foot in this industry.

I first started the brand Link Group and for around 30 years I imported multi brands from all over the world. The reason I started my original brand All Dress Up was because I felt that with just selling imported goods the business would not expand out of Singapore. However, if I made my own original brand, then the company can spread out in to the world and thought there would be the chance to grow on a worldwide scale and started the brand six years ago.

I tell myself to stay positive no matter what kind of problem occurs. Until now, I have met many CEOs and staff from all over the world. I believe that there is always something to learn from every person I ever meet. From now on, I wish to strive to make an organization like so.
